To start with, as long as I live, Anni and I will never forget the kindness pointed our way from the Big Game Fishing Journal fundraiser led by Capt. Len Belcaro. It raised greatly needed funds as the cancer doctors said at the time I had two weeks to live. I will never forget and we will never ever stop saying thank you.

Today, I’m paralyzed from my chest down, a T4 (ASIA A) complete in medical terms. After two years of receiving a chemotherapy intravenously called Rituxan, I am now technically free of blood cancer, but I will never walk again, I only roll. I fish, hunt, have a TV show, sell corporate aircraft (I’m a 7,500-hour jet and turbo prop pilot having over 22 ocean crossings as pilot in command), snow ski, scuba dive and am getting ready to jump out of an airplane, and believe you me, I appreciate every day and every minute on this earth.

I have lived an honorable life, a life of hard work, a life of honor and code. I believe in Jesus Christ our Savior and I feel good that I
