More top crews are making this location a stop as the spring fishery has shown some fantastic release numbers on blue marlin, with mahi and sailfish in the mix. As the season goes on, the sailfish release numbers continue to improve all the way into the fall. Add in meat fish such as mahi, blackfin tuna, and wahoo as a possibility on any given day and you have an action-packed fishery.
The airport (CHS) is within 15-30 minutes of most marinas and is very easy to get into and out of. For a smaller airport, they surprisingly have a lot of options on places to stay.
